After laying off two-thirds of its staff and making pay cuts all around recently, you'd think our Main Street "neighbors" KUTV 2 would be pinching their pennies, right? No, they went out and bought a customized chopper (as in motorcycle, not another annoying helicopter) with a sidecar as their "latest tool for gathering news: Chopper 2." Seriously.
How the hell is a motorcycle used for news gathering? And does this mean they'll need a Scooter 14 to help with the KJZZ news at 9? And did they not spring for helmets because news hair is already laquered into a protective shell? I could go on and on, but this slideshow of remaining KUTV employees staring blankly at the shiny black hole that replaced their collegues pretty much says it all.
