We'll be running a full review in the dead-tree edition of City Weekly at a later date, but in the meantime, attendees at Pygmalion Productions' run of The Passion of Sister Dottie S. Dixon be warned: The front rows are not for the timid.

Sister Dottie (Charles Lynn Frost), it turns out, is a very friendly sort -- so friendly that she spends some of the show asking questions of the audience, handing them "props" (in one case a pantomimed infant), and perhaps even inviting folks up to the stage to participate in an impromptu lesson in how to speak Spanish (Fork). The tickets are general admission, so those who don't mind joining in the fun themselves can choose to plunk themselves down front. And those who prefer simply to observe should consider the nosebleed seats.
