Miss Saigon opens tonight at Pioneer Theatre Company, but it's not the only local arts event with a Vietnam theme. The ongoing Smithsonian Institute exhibit "Exit Saigon, Enter Little Saigon" continues at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley City continues through May 27, and tonight (Friday) offers a free screening of the fascinating documentary Daughter from Danang at 8 p.m. Learn what happens when a Vietnamese-born woman raised in America tries to make contact with her birth family -- and learn a little background before you catch the PTC show.
