That half-finished screenplay you've got sitting in a desk drawer somewhere isn't going to improve itself. Work it out with a little bit of help from your colleagues.

The Salt Lake Film Society, as part of its ongoing mission to nurture local filmmaking voices, is summoning applicants for its third annual Utah Screenwriters Project. Would-be screenwriters, whether brand-new or merely trying to get better, may be able to participate in workshops. Your $15 application fee goes directly to supporting the project. Application deadline is next Thursday, April 30; workshops will begin in May.

Contact Jim Faulkner (jim_faulkner@saltlakefilmsociety.org, 801-746-0038) for application or additional details.
