It's 4-20 Dude!

Love it or hate it, the date that happens to coincide with the universally acknowledged code for weed smoking is upon is. You can celebrate by doing the obvious or catching a couple of great live shows.
Local Americana rockers Atherton will play their first show in nine months opening for Pretty and Nice at Kilby Court. The SLC band is currently working on their third full-length album and chances are good you'll catch a sneak preview of the record's content tonight.
And my favorite oddball Mike Brown will be holding an Anti-Hippie 4-20 Party at the Woodshed with his band The Fucktards. This is a patchouli-free event. Action kicks off at 9 p.m.-ish
