Since 1971, Harry “the K” Kalas announced Philadelphia Phillies games both locally and nationally, twice in the world series. He was also an original voice of NFL Films and the man who coined the signature home run call “outta here.”
Kalas was a member of both the baseball hall of fame as well as the broadcasters hall of fame.
Kalas died in the broadcast booth preparing to call another Phillies game.
