You just knew that the Legislature was going to find a way to screw up the law getting rid of private clubs and those stupid Zion curtains in restaurants. In order to get this law passed they, the "Waddoupslature," demanded that any restaurant built after May 12th keep all liquor bottles and drink mixing out of sight. This would include any remodeling of existing restaurants that were operating before that date.
If this isn't enough to gouge your eyeballs out over their stupidity, they also included in the language of the new liquor laws that once a bottle of "Old Red Dog" was opened, it ceased to be a display covered under 1st Amendment protection and must be hidden from view.
This latest twist to the liquor law will surely bring legal action which will cost the state money to defend if they don't fix this nonsense. Here's hoping that the DABC can.
