Several great live music options tonight: At Kilby Court, The Wolfs emerge from hibernation to join fellow locals Le Force and Tiny Lights in concert along with Portland-based psych rockers The Pink Snowflakes. Later, race over to watch SLC's Tolchock Trio open for Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti. The avant-garde artist with an all-star band featuring among others Jimi Hey of Beachwood Sparks/Glass Candy. The man behind it all stirs up a witches brew of classic rock and pop twisted and distorted until it’s the albums you and your parents grew up on, only backwards. If you're feeling more charitable, check out the annual Sub City Take Action! tour featuring Cute Is What We Aim For, with Utah natives Meg & Dia, Breathe Carolina, Anarbor and Every Avenue. Proceeds from the 2009 concert series will benefit DoSomething.org, a not-for-profit that takes the guesswork out of community outreach.
