Two solid entries from last fall are the big names this week: Disney's non-Pixar animated adventure Bolt, and a slightly-less-animated Daniel Craig returning as James Bond in Quantum of Solace. The former is a solidly entertaining effort, mostly thanks to the comic-relief provided by Rhino, the fanboy hamster buddy of the titular TV hero (who doesn't actually realize that his death-defying adventures are fake). And while Quantum finds director Marc Forster fumbling a bit as he tries to put together action sequences, Craig's 21st-century take on 007 continues to give the series renewed vigor.

On the more obscure side, Watchmen purists who wanted even more in the current movie can finally experience the excised sub-plot in Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter. As the movie sinks at the box office, maybe the additional tie-in content is seeming less and less like a wise financial bet.
