Wallet feeling a little tight? Maybe it's time to start honing your roshambo skills. We're not sure if SLC indie-pop artists Kid Theodore practiced before heading down to Austin for SXSW. Maybe their victory at the AMP Energy Drink and USARPS League's Rock Paper Scissors competition has more to do with plain old karma. They are such nice boys, after all. The event (which is very real as is the league) was limited to bands appearing at the annual music and media conference. Folks like Silversun Pickups and An Horse came down to get in on the action at Buffalo Billiards. After several heated rounds, Kid Theodore's Cole Barnson emerged the victor and took home the $5,000 cash prize! Congratulate him when the band plays Velour on March 28.
