You Lost Me, Jim

Representative Jim Matheson, I have voted for you. I have volunteered for you and on many occasions I have defended you. However, your no vote on HR3590 (Health Care Reform) shows that you have accepted cowardice and political expediency rather than the just cause of health-care reform. You have decided that your true constituents are the insurance companies and their lobbyists and not the voters of your district.

I write today to announce that I will never again vote for you, I will never again volunteer for your re-election and I will join the voices of those who no longer can reconcile their conscience with their defense of your political, ethical and moral cowardice.
