I can’t be the only one who, after watching Tombstone for the hundredth time, wishes I could have been alive in days of the crazy Wild West. Unfortunately, time travel is not yet possible. The good news is that a small part of the Wild West can be experienced in Provo—over dinner!
The Covey Center for the Performing Arts is hosting its first Wild West dinner improv theater where patrons will dine on the large stage and then be entertained by the locally famous theater improv group, The Thrillionaires. The menu includes roast beef, Dutch-oven potatoes, barbecue baked beans, green salad, homemade root beer and chocolate brownies.
After dinner, The Thrillionaires perform an oldfashioned Western melodrama, in which patrons can hiss the villain and cheer for the hero. The cost is $15 per person and seating is limited. Seats must be purchased at least 24 hours before the show.
