Wa Me Chinese is a family-owned restaurant known around the valley for its authentic Shanghai dishes and extremely friendly service. Time and time again, customers rave about the juicy pork dumplings, which are steamed in a bamboo basket to lock in all that delicious flavor. Winners from the Shanghai portion of the menu include slow-stewed fish-head soup with tofu and glass noodles, the cold-meat plate, and Shanghaistyle stir-fried noodles and rice balls in sweet wine that are excellent for dessert. The potstickers are also especially delicious, not to mention big enough to be an entire meal on their own.
