Sushi Monster

3567 S. 2700 West, West Valley City, 84119
For artistically presented sushi and Japanese favorites such as tempura, katsu, teriyaki and hibachi options, all served in an eye-catching dining space filled with stylish lighting and dusky wooden furniture, come to Sushi Monster. This is, hands down, some of the most gorgeous sushi you’ll ever see. Every piece is carefully arranged with garnishes and dots and dabs of sauce so you’re not just getting a meal, you’re getting an intricate, colorful work of art. Try the Key West, Dragon, Winter, Pacific, Dynamite and BMW special rolls, or nigiri options that include eel, octopus, mackerel, tuna and more. A roll with an especially fun look is the soft-shell crab (spider) roll arranged on the plate over a spiderweb of sweet sauce. All the menu items are very reasonably priced, so you’ll be able to sample all of the beautiful sushi you want.

If you are thinking about eating here, don't. If you drive by and see the place, RUN! We waited for two hours for just one of four rolls we ordered. The manager was rude. We overpayed for our drinks and one roll. $48.00. We refused thte rest of our food that had been sitting out because our waitress did not care to serve us. We didn't do anything offensive to her. We eventually asked for everything but our drinks to be removed from our bill and the manager added ten more dollars to it. I think this place is run by a manager with no brain and waited on by completely careless waiteresses with no brain. There were 15 tables in the place with 4 waiters. We waited for TWO hours. 4 servers, 3 cooks, 15 tables and we waited for Two HOURS! This is the best part, we all got really sick from the one roll we ate and when the manager said you can't have a refund and we said can we tell the other customers who have been here for two hours aswell, that we got sick from our overpriced long awaited sushi? She said sure and then called the police when we really did it. If you really want to go here I would consider gouging your eyes out first, because you would have a bette rexperience.
