The Garage on Beck St is a roadhouse-style bar/venue with one of the city's best patios along with great sound due to the ample amounts of reclaimed barn wood inside. The venue is located on the north edge of Salt Lake City with a backdrop of the cities oil refinery along with a junk yard next door giving it a Rob Zombie/Mad Max kind of feel.

Other than this bar has a newly remodeled atmosphere they need to do a little remodeling of their service and management. The first time I walked into the place it took me about 20-30 minutes to get someone to look at me to get a beer. The next time I went, the bartender was too busy talking to customers and left me waiting for 5 minutes with no one else needing service. Id say good luck getting a call back if you have a problem!! Too busy doing who the hell knows what to keep consistently refilling drinks for customers, horrible horrible.
This place was really great before they hired new bartenders that are really snotty and too busy trying to look awesome in front of their friends. Also, it like twilight now is overrun by really douchey people. The place itself is great, the people and staff are not so, the owners should reconsider staff before gets a bad name.
