Bountiful lays claim to the state's first Orange Leaf "fro-yo" franchise. The premise is this: 50 flavors of frozen yogurt and 59 toppings including various fruit, cookie and candy--all self-served into different-size cups and charged by weight (about 40 cents per ounce). The quality yogurt selection, and the ability to serve yourself the goodies you want without having to ask a server to add a little of this and a lot of that, and the ability to pay by weight as opposed to unit make up the appeal of this place. Plus the clean, trendy decor make it a fun stop. The downside is that it can be too much of a good thing, calorie-wise and sensory overload-wise, and brainfreeze often awaits fro-yo fanatics.
