Mama's Plantation serves up rib-sticking Southern-style cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, be sure to try the homestyle grits and the biscuits and gravy. At lunchtime, the catfish and whiting sandwiches are popular, along with the hot links. For dinner, it's hard to beat the fried chicken buckets, barbecue ribs, or the rib tips. For something different, try an order of frog legs or hoppin' John. Hushpuppies and collard greens on the side are great and so is the sweet potato pie for dessert.

Not worth the money. Neighborhood is run down. Not the best place to enjoy your food. The place inside is tasteless and tacky. The food you get is way too expensive. You're better off cooking your own fried chicken say for $4.00, rather than to pay $20.00 for 10 pieces of chicken. I would pass. The atmosphere could be better for what your paying. In the vibe inside is very irry. Makes you feel like you in an old town that's not very friendy... PASS!
