Steaks, quite obviously, are the main focus at Ruby River, with influences from San Francisco to San Antonio and home kitchens to truck stops. Ruby River partners Bob Kimsey and Steve Lowe named their restaurants after a favorite fishing river in Montana, but Utah is home to Ruby River Steakhouses in Provo, Ogden, Sandy and Salt Lake City. Center-cut pork chops, Prime rib, rib-eye steaks, steak Oscar, the New York cut and baby back ribs are highlights for carnivores. But there are also great salads, Parmesan-crusted halibut, grilled tiger prawns and the fresh seafood catch of the day. Kids and adults both enjoy the handcrafted sodas and exotic fruit drinks.
