Stockton Miners Cafe

47 Conner Ave., Stockton, 84071
Located near Tooele, this remodeled cafe has a smalltown vibe, with miners’ helmets and tools decorating the walls, and friendly service that only a small town can provide. Enjoy your lunch or dinner at the original bar in the middle of the room or in one of the more intimate surrounding booths. Try the housemade garlic burger served with onion rings that come fresh out of the fryer, or the chile verde. Top of your meal with the luscious ice cream, made right on the spot, or the apple fritters, which never disappoint.

The Stockton Miners Cafe, in Stockton Utah  related to the mining in the old west is a fun and historical experience. The breakfasts, burgers, steaks , and specials are delicious and you can find the book we have often discussed for sale with the author's autograph, a Utah collectable By David Yarbrough, titled THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE AIR. Both the fun restaurant and the book are worth the 35 minute ride from THE CITY

I had the worst service experience of my life at this place, if service is important to you then don't go here.  The food is good, but not good enough to suffer through being ignored by the inept service staff.

I LOVE that kids eat free on Monday's.  We go there often and my kids love it, and I love it.  Sometimes the service is slow, but the food is actuallly cooked and not just warmed up.  Like a home cooked meal, but you don't have to do the cooking.  I love the setting, I just feel so comfortable there.  I DO recommend them, and my favorite dish is the Cathrines wrap and home made french fries, and a rootbeer float for desseret.

I have been praising The Stockton Miner Cafe for years now taking friends and family to eat there. Everyone we have taken there have thought it was really good. Now after our service and treatment on Wednesday October 19th, 2011 I will never go back to that dump, I will never recommend that place again and my family will never do the same. The service was really bad last night the food was either cold or it was under cooked and all eight of the people in our party had there order messed up and when the Manager came by and we complained he said that it is hard to find the help on a wednesday night and it is a small town cafe that you have to expect things like this and he then said to deal with it, we told him that we were never coming back and said oh well. So because of the really bad service and really bad customer relations of the manager I will never go back to that place ever again and never recommend that place to anyone...... after the treatment I really would not be upset if that place closed down. They need to go through and replace the rude and incompetant workers.
