This gorgeous creekside restaurant features a sprawling patio for warm-weather dining al fresco. Inside, the decor is modern and sophisticated, just like the food. The Matsu menu ranges from sushi and sashimi to yakisoba noodle dishes, udon soups, donburi items and tempura. Chef’s specialties include tonkatsu, ginger pork, izumi dai, hibachi steak and shabu shabu. From the sushi bar, the Geisha roll is superb: tuna, salmon, avocado and lemon wrapped in cucumber with ponzu sauce.
