This killer Texas-style barbecue joint doubles as a general store selling ornamental iron, blankets, bells, yard art and pottery from Texas and south of the border. The real draw, though, is the bodacious barbecue: beef brisket, barbecued chicken, pork and (unusual!) beef ribs, housemade sausage and terrific sides of pinto beans, potato salad and coleslaw. Your best bet is to load up a combo plate. But also try the terrific all-meat chili, the sausage plate, pulled-pork sandwich and the sliced brisket hillbilly burger.
