With by far the best and freshest selection of oysters in town, downtown’s Market Street Oyster Bar (there are also locations in Cottonwood and South Jordan) is a must for any oyster lover. Six to eight oyster varieties are typically offered daily, along with an array of fresh seafood and steaks. The chilled seafood platter of Maine lobster, Alaskan king crab and Gulf shrimp is hard to resist, and all of the chowders and seafood stews at Market Street totally rock. On Mondays, oysters are half-price all day, and appetizers are half-price daily from 4-6 p.m., so arrive early to snag a coveted seat at the bar.
