Sam Weller’s Books, also known as Zion Bookstore, is Utah's oldest and largest independent bookstore. It has operated since 1961 from its Main Street location, selling thousands of titles of new, used and rare books. As a hub of local literary events, the store hosts numerous author events, book clubs and literary functions. In March 2009, third-generation owners Tony and Catherine Weller announced plans to sell the store and relocate to a new downtown location, which has yet to be divulged.
