Cruzrs wears its biker-bar bona fides proudly, with a pair of motorcycles parked right in the middle of the stage area. Pub food, pinball machines and pool tables (the latter free on Wednesdays and Thursdays) blend with an Internet jukebox for a spot that’s just the right mix of old-school and contemporary.
My Brother and I just wanted to watch some football on Sunday at a bar, our choice of Cruzers was a big mistake; there was no food available which was advertised outside on there building and there was no heat I had to wear my coat in the place and it was still cold. Later a woman came to us and said they were having a private party there and we could not eat because they were doing a pot luck dinner. My impression was this is not a public bar but a private party bar and the general public is not wanted. It was apparent the management should take some schooling in business and customer service. If your not one of the club don’t go there. At half time we went to Totems, got great food, great service and a better TV that had HD for the game. Next time we will cruse past curzers.
This bar has the WORST business sense and customer service. It has a few pathetic male groupies hanging around the bars fat, ugly owner. My friends and I were out for a drink, minding our own business. My friend took a poster off the wall to look at the concert that was being advertised and one of the "groupies" yelled at us to put it back.Then, the owners girlfriend was giving us this icy stare. They asked us to leave. I paid my tab, left a nice 30% tip, and kindly went to meet my wife at the door to leave at this point. I told the fat owner that we would not be coming back, instead we would be visiting other, classier bars with much better customer service and business sense. At this point I was PUNCHED in the jaw by the owner and wrestled to the floor and choked by one of his immature constituents. I would have been happy to leave, but I was assaulted on my way out. Furthermore, the selection of drinks and food is very poor, it's dirty, dark, unclean, and unwelcoming. This hole needs to be shut down.
Awesome Bar, Great service, pool tables, Karaoke, Poker, low priced drinks, Amazing food from the grill, Breaded Hot Wings !!! Great Employee's - tons of HD TV's for watching !! Not another place in Salt Lake like this awesome bar !!
