The BlueStar Juice Bar and Coffee Café is located at the north entrance of the Canyon Rim neighborhood, coming off (or going on) the I-80 ramp. The proprietors are dog-friendly and welcome cyclists, walkers and runners. The BlueStar “banini” breakfast sandwich is a great way to start the day: Choose your favorite fresh bagel, cheese and filling and they’ll season and grill it to perfection. For lunch, the cafe offers a variety of bagel sandwiches stacked with your favorite meat, cheese and veggies. Or, if you’re just in the mood for pastries, choose from a wide variety of locally baked cakes, muffins and tasty pastry favorites. There’s also a convenient drive-thru location downtown.
