The original La Morena opened back in 1967, and has been the place to go for authentic Mexican food ever since. The house specialties - homemade chile verde, chile rellenos, burrito grande and caldo de res soup - are out of this world. But also try the tacos, enchiladas, tamales, chimichangas and lucious, creamy refried beans. And, if you're partial to huevos rancheros, the La Morena version is terrific.
