Sun & Moon Cafe

6281 Emigration Canyon, Salt Lake City, 84108
Casual dining and contemporary fare in a lovely canyon setting. Chef Carl Weyant creates eclectic dishes like Sun & Moon's grilled veggie sandwich, grilled salmon over couscous, steak with green peppercorn sauce, and Gorgonzola mashed spuds. The salads and sandwiches are as tasty as the pretty views from the al fresco deck. Plenty of microbrews available for sipping, too. Plus, there's live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Dining/club deals may be available for this establishment at the CW Store here.

Very strange experience.  We went to the restaurant Sunday around 1:30 PM   We waited at the "wait to be seated sign" for about 10 minutes until the hostess came and informed us that the wait would be around 20 minutes.  We glanced around the restaurant and determined that there were 4 tables occupied and concluded that there must be quite a crowd on the patio, but in looking there - it was about half full.

The hostess said the servers had as many tables as they could handle.

The food was average and the service was relatively inattentive - for the wait, I doubt we'll go back
