Don't let the so-so atmosphere and decor here deter you. Rated excellent by Zagat, Golden Phoenix serves up authentic Cantonese, Mandarin and Szechwan dishes in a friendly atmosphere. Wanda, the owner, and her staff are very helpful in every way. Some of the dishes you don't want to miss at Golden Phoenix include the crab claw appetizer, walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, hot and sour soup, pepper chicken, eggplant hot pot, fresh steamed fish and the House Special Noodles. Wash it all down with a cold Tsingtao beer.
