My family has been all over the US. We just moved from New Mexico out to South Jordan we have been trying to find a great Mexican restaurant. After trying all 15 Mexican places in Draper we had decided that Utah must be lacking Mexican. We then had a neighbor tell us about Salsa Leedos- they heard me bragging to my wife about my Chile Verde I make with fresh Hatch New Mexico Chiles. They toldĀ me I must try Salsa Leedos Chile Verde. With hesitation I went not to excited to give another Mexican restaurant my money. We arrived to find a huge restaurant with a great bar centered in the middle of the place. Live music jamming and the place was packed. I started off with some great salsa with big chunks of tomatoes unlike all the other liquid salsa's we have eaten in Draper. I then ordered the Chile Colorado off the 2 for $18.00 menu. That is a deal two entrees and and appetizer for $18.00. The owner told me if I was a fun of New Mexico Mexican I had to try the Chile Colorado. I was impressed the owner was working-bussing-seating- and chatting with his guests. It seemed as if he knew everyone in the place. So the Colorado was the best I have had. My wife ordered the Chile Verde. We both shared each others. The rice was full of flavor and the beans also. We were even more surprised at the costĀ  of a margarita with tequila. ONLY $2.00...I had to go with the $5.00 top shelf. My neighbor had the Green Chile baby back ribs...WOW. This was something you would only find at a small ma and pa's Mexican shack in New Mexico. It was the most flavorful meat I have ever eaten. I'm telling you this place is the one. We have been back at least one time per week finding a new favorite every time. The owner Travis seems to always be working. His staff if friendly and on top of things. You must check this place out.
