In 1973, from the ruins of the old Park City Hotel emerged the Claim Jumper steakhouse – a hotel that was reminiscent of that great bygone era. The popular Claim Jumper menu was a perennial favorite among locals, who were mainly wealthy miners and ranchers. After three decades of excellence in traditional American fare, the Claim Jumper moved to Heber City, 20 minutes south of its original location, with an additional location in St. George. There's Prime rib, rib-eye, New York Strip and top sirloin steaks on the menu, along with King Crab legs and Utah trout. But, if you sample only one thing at the Claimjumper, make sure it's the renowned baseball steak.
