Cafe Med specializes in serving the best from the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions, including Persian and Turkish foods. You might start your Med meal with pita & hummus, dolmas, falafel or tabbouleh, before moving onto bigger things. There are delightful Persian stews called khoresh-e, lots of kabob options, Persian meatballs called koofteh, a Turkish veggie platter, Greek moussake and the delicious tomato-roasted lamb shank with dill rice and lima beans called baqala polow. Great gyros, too. For dessert, try the sho-lay-zard: saffron rice pudding with almonds and rose water. Cafe Med also serves brunch on weekends.
