Situated in a small, funky, Victorian brick house on Main Street, the Sidetrack Cafe is Heber’s most eccentric eatery, serving home-style food with an Italian slant. Wednesday is pasta and live-music night, and every Friday and Saturday the Sidetrack features Italian Chicago fare and live music. Regular menu items include zucchini and mozzarella sticks, caprese salad, lasagna, spaghetti Bolognese, bruschetta, desserts and a surprisingly robust beer and wine list.
