Situated in a small, funky, Victorian brick house on Main Street - the former home of Il Giardino - the Sidetrack Cafe is Heber's most eccentric eatery, serving homemade food with an Italian slant. Wednesday night is "Pasta Night & Live Music" and every Friday and Saturday the Sidetrack features "Italian Chicago Fare & Live Music." Regular menu items include zucchini and mozzarella sticks, caprese salad, lasagna, spaghetti Bolognese, bruscheta, desserts and a surprisingly robust beer and wine list.
