Since August 2007, UTA has been cutting bus routes, which puts more vehicles on the road. Unemployment goes up because many lose their transportation to work. UTA is talking about adding more TRAX lines but reducing buses. UTA is not improving the transit system. They are making it worse.
Our economy is getting worse and individuals at all income levels are hurting right now. Not having a good bus system increases poverty and crime. UTA actions support big oil.
