Santa time is upon us, and, hopefully, that means your shopping is done and you can take some time to give to those folks whose holiday stress involves finding shelter from the cold and food to keep them going, as well as to the families struggling to find a little Christmas magic for their children. This week, you can shop for the child of a low-income family, take part in a benefit comedy show or join in a jolly winter 5K Santa run to benefit the Road Home shelter.

Santa Hat Dash & Reindeer Run 5K

For all you 5K fanatics bummed by the season’s change, here’s your chance to stretch those legs and do some winter running for a good cause.
