The Canyon Inn
Some lucky person in beach attire is going to walk away with a trip for two to Wendover during The Canyon Inn’s annual Beach Party July 26. DJ Che will be breaking it down dirty on the tables for this wet theme night. Dig the open, fresh-air patio and wear your flippy floppys to 3700 S. Fort Union Blvd.

Getting High Like A G-Something at SkyBar
Any place promising “Vegas-Style Bottle Service” has to be onto something, right? Sky Bar (600 S. 200 West) is still alive, sitting atop the Red Lion Hotel downtown. Saturdays are the new “Jumpoff Saturday Nights,” and they feature DJ Specialist’s soothing tracks and some ass-bumping maneuvers from SinrGy GoGos, with DJ Bad Boy Brian hosting the festivities.

Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School At Bar Deluxe
Some crazy kook decided that art and beer really do mix better than ever—and that live drawing of real models might give a shot in the arm to the dying practice of not using a computer to make pictures—and invented Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School. Bar Deluxe (666 S. State), infamous in the past for burlesque and other sultry delights, is bringing some more skin to bare with Dr. Sketchy’s latest installment in Salt Lake City, featuring belly dancers Meg Hinds and Annie Defa from the Blue Lotus troupe. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. on July 25, and the drawing begins at 8:45. It’s only $2 to watch, but there’s an $8 fee to draw.

Jackalope Lounge
Home to things like BMX parties and Snuggles, Jackalope Lounge (372 S. State) isn’t going anywhere, though it was a facet of a recent story from Time about the end of drink specials in Utah. Regardless of that fact, this bar still sells a mean shot/drink combo that won’t bust your wallet.
