The fact that the government and the media are pushing back the frequency for mammograms and pap smears makes me think this: With the current administration pushing through health care, they know they cannot keep up with the huge demand that will be placed on socialized medicine. So they are starting now to cut back on cancer screening tests.
Is this the beginning of regulated health care? Is this the beginning of governmentdenied care? So, when we are on government-run health care, will we be denied tests because “they” have decided the tests are not necessary? Why all of a sudden is this effort to eliminate cancer screening?
I’m thinking this is the way that government-run health care will go. Save money by not recommending tests, and if we die, it’s just one less person they have to take care of. Even with the imperfect system we have now, it’s better than what I see coming.
