Temporary Frenzy

John Birch Society members use language as a weapon to support their dogma (ie., conflating liberalism, socialism and communism) then use lowest-common-denominator reasoning (such as assigning evil, sinister, subversive intentions to someone whose position on some matter might parallel a position taken by the Communist Party) to whip their adherents into an anti-government frenzy ( I’m surprised there aren’t more Timothy McVeighs around). And of course, this tends to come to light during our more unsettling economic times. Cooler heads always prevail and the angst-ridden miscreants slowly disappear.
