Tasty SB Dance Fundraiser
On Saturday, Dec. 7, SB Dance will combine food, wine and theater as they host the dance company’s annual “fund-rager.” The event will be held at the Rose Wagner Center (138 W. 300 South), from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Vine Lore Wine & Spirits will provide beverages, including Zonin Prosecco, M Chapoutier’s Bila Haut Cotes du Roussillon Blanc, True Myth Chardonnay, Epic beers, signature cocktails and more. SB Dance will perform live and a dance groove will be supplied by DJ TiDY. Food comes courtesy of Nicholas & Co., Amour Spreads, Beehive Cheese, Frida Bistro, Bistro 222, Boulevard Bistro, Brio Tuscan Grill and Toscano’s. Tickets are $50, all-inclusive, ArtTix.org or 801-355-2878; see Essentials (p. 26) for more details. SBDance.com

A New Brew
Since April and through the summer and fall, the Little America Coffee Shop (500 S. Main, 801-596-5708) has been undergoing a complete redesign and renovation, including the restaurant, lobby lounge and retail shop. Well, the new space is now finished, and combines the best of Little America’s tradition and history with modern amenities, lighting, décor and furniture. The coffee counter is still intact, but has been attractively updated, and menu items—including comfort foods like the classic hot roasted turkey sandwich, Alaskan halibut and Prime rib—are still made each day from scratch. New/Old Chef for Solitude
Chef Greg Neville, most recently of Lugano Restaurant (3364 S. 2300 East, 801-412-9994), has returned to Solitude Resort, where he previously served as director of food and beverage following his long stint with Gastronomy Inc. Meanwhile, Lugano’s former chef de cucina, Jonah Hornsby, has taken the helm at Lugano. SkiSolitude.com
