Songs of the Earth: A Celebration of Nature

Price: Suggested Donation: $15 individual and $30 family - at the door. Donations in any amount are welcomed. Proceeds will benefit: Living Rivers/Colorado Riverkeeper - http://www.livingrivers.org/, a local non-profit based in Moab, UT.
First Unitarian Church/South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society choirs perform "Songs of the Earth”, a cantata composed by Mary Lou Prince, SVUU Music Director, with written text by Patty Willis, SVUU Minister. Light refreshments served. Proceeds from suggested donation ($15 individual; $30 family) benefit: LivingRivers/ColoradoRiverkeeper which empowers a movement to instill a new ethic of achieving ecological restoration, balanced with meeting human needs: restoring inundated river canyons, wetlands and the delta; repealing antiquated laws which represent the river's death sentence; reducing water and energy use and their impacts on the river; and recruiting constituents to aid in reviving the Colorado River.
