I personally live at the shelter and yes there's drugs all around in front of the shelter were our kids wait for the school bus. there's such dirty living conditions here there's diseases that keep comeing. the housing program seems good but it's only a temporary fix. it helps u get into a apt but after that your left on your own, for some it's great but for most we need a more permanent solution a good majority of the people at the road home are disabled and cannot afford the 700-900 a month rent when you do move out so they end up back in the shelter within 6 months all these issues need to be addressed badly and fast for the safety and happiness of the kids and adults here
