The Utah League of Women Voters invites interested members of the public to attend a free lecture from Utah Division of Air Quality Director Bryce Bird on air issues affecting—and afflicting—all Utahns. Be ready to get a primer on pollution problems in the state and ways to cut back on the emissions that become the gunk in our lungs. The Town Club, 1081 E. Annual Hunger Banquet
Tuesday, Nov. 22

The season of need is right around the corner, and now more than ever, low-income and homeless Utahns need a good, warm meal. You can learn more about helping those in need and be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities at the University of Utah Bennion Community Service Center’s annual hunger banquet. Enjoy food, music and a performance by Peter Breinholt. The entrance fee is $5 or five canned food items. Union Building, University of Utah, 200 S.
