Wodka and Women: Depot Imports the Russians
There are the Mexican-themed nights, “Ladies’ Nights” and now—finally!—“Russian Nights” with vodka drink specials, as hard to believe as that may be. It’s a night “dedicated to the beautiful Russian community here in SLC.” San Francisco-via-Russia DJ D: Russo will be spinning along with local DJ Timone at The Depot (400 W. South Temple) Friday night.

Club Vegas: Annual Birthday Bashing
6 p.m. is the time to cue up for free barbecue and the beginning of a night of pure mayhem with the annual Sir Smooth and Still-Born Birthday show. Neutral Boy, Tough Tittie and Vengeance also share the bill for this event on Saturday, May 15, at Club Vegas (445 S. 400 West).

A Bar Named Sue: Basement Bliss
Downtown is a long drive for some. Fortunately, the East Bench offers a bar just off Highland Drive and 3900 South. A Bar Named Sue is home to everything free but the drinks: free pool, free darts, free jukebox and free eye candy. Gorgeous guys and gals pack this place every weekend night to party. Live music five nights a week, including Solid Gold on Saturdays and Neil and Spencer (from Royal Bliss) doing a stripped-down set Tuesday nights. Thursdays and Mondays give you a chance to shine, too, with karaoke nights.
