Solitude has transformed mid-mountain dining into an experience brand new to Utah ski resorts. Gone are the days of gut-bomb burgers and ready-made soup. This season premiered the yurt-like Roundhouse with a bold new Mountain Menu featuring Himalayan and Wasatch influenced flavors. Now offering made-from-scratch and gluten-free items, generous servings of Lamb or Vegetable Curry, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer and Dal Bhat are dished up with jasmine rice and naan. For snow sports enthusiasts with locally-refined tastes, Bear River Lamb Shepherd Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, and Powderhorn Potatoes(inspired by Utah's own Funeral Potatoes) are also created in-house. With vegan or dairy-free soup, fresh-baked cookies, and curried tator tots(!), there's nowhere else in Utah that you can find this kind of fare at 9000 feet.
