This summer weekend offers unique events for the active citizen. Take part in a benefit for an organization helping to get retired research cats adopted, and maybe bring home a furry new pal. Also, don’t miss a bicycling event to pedal against MS, or check out a beer-fueled fundraiser for an orphanage in Uganda at Squatters Brewery.

Retired Research Animal Adoption and Benefit

Your backyard or home could become the Florida for retired research animals, as there are a number of cats and dogs looking for loving homes after doing their part for science. Adopt a pet or show up to learn more. Get henna tattoos, buy baked goods or other gifts and help support homes for retired research animals.
