Honk & Wave for Peace
Saturday, Nov. 17
If your favorite motto is “give peace a chance,” then it’s time join up with some other local peaceniks saying the same thing. This weekend, meet up with local peace activists at a honk-and-wave event for peace and add your voice to the chorus of activists looking to raise awareness of the high cost of America’s foreign wars. Signs will be provided, or you can bring your own. 2100 S. 700 East, Salt Lake City, Nov. 17, 3-4 p.m., for more info e-mail

Admission is free and, along with over 50 vendors, there will be lunch and Greek pastries available, with a portion of proceeds going to support the Work Activity Center.
