Yep, them heavy-handed, liberal, federal judges are frustrating the will of the people again by allowing gay marriage [“A Person Can Call Himself a Tree,” Letters, Aug. 26, City Weekly]. Golly, I remember when we voted that it was OK to hang somebody from a tree by a rope because they had the wrong color of skin—it even said it was OK in the Bible.
But then, them feds come in and say we can’t do that. You can call yerself a tree; but by gum, then we’ll it use for our rope. Hate and ignorance ain’t no disorders.
