Restaurant Details

Defining a price range for this unique restaurant is difficult: there isn’t one. When One World founder Denise Cerreta opened this unusual eatery in 2003, her idea was simple: Everyone should be able to eat, regardless of income. So there isn’t a fixed price for meals at One World; customers simply choose their own meal portions and decide what the meal is worth. Predictably, One World attracts a countercultural type of clientele who appreciate the lofty goals of the restaurant (eliminating world hunger) as well as the high-quality cuisine, which changes daily but always features fresh, hearty breads; quiche; soups and stews; salads; hot entrees; dal and rice; organic coffees and teas; and dessert. For the latter, the “Everything Cookie” is a huge hit.
