As a student who is half way through the nursing program at SLCC, I can honestly say I think everything is going to be better from this point on. Since entering the program last year it has been nothing but a joke. Most of the instructors we'd had were terrible and the most we learned was self taught. There were several times I tried to arrange meetings with some of the instructors who are now gone and they would never respond to emails or be available to discuss grades or go over material. It was a joke. Francine Weiss is the first person I've met with who actually seemed to care and have answers. I think she can and will turn this program around as she seemed very kind and willing to help the students. What the program needs is structure and I finally feel like that's starting to happen.
