Posted // November 21,2013 Utah Attorney General John Swallow announced his resignation from office Thursday, Nov. 21, following nearly a year of ongoing allegations of corruption. At a press conference announcing his resignation, Swallow explained the forces against him by telling the media a little story about farm life. “When I grew up on the farm, we had chickens,” Swallow said. “You get one little chick with a speck on his head, and what do all the other little chicks do? They peck it to death because it’s got a speck on it. My first week in office, I had a little speck, and people kept pecking it.”
