Lumpys Downtown

Shots of Local Nightlife: Saturday, March 7

Lumpys Downtown is truly the spot for Hip Hop Top 40 on the weekends. DJ Latu, a master in his field, takes up residence every Saturday to provide the bass for a basement style, new-school block party. On March 7, a diverse crowd backed up the club’s reputation by fluctuating in time to the scratches on the wheels of steel. It’s refreshing to see people still getting out there and supporting Utah nightlife in less-than-ideal weather, not to mention economic sour times.
